Where is the data from?
Sourced from fuel purchases processed by Business Fuel Cards using thousands of our cards. Due to this, we only display fuel sites within Australia that accept Business Fuel Cards. These fuel sites include Service Stations, Truck Stops and Marinas. All transactions received are updated to the PriceWatch data to determine the minimum, maximum and average fuel prices that are being offered by fuel companies across Australia.
How current is the data?
Business Fuel Cards receives data from online and off-line fuel retailers and processed in real-time or in data batches by off-line retailers. PriceWatch will always be updated every 24 hours at a minimum.
How often is PriceWatch updated?
Our data is automatically updated every night at midnight, only requiring a minimum of five (5) transactions (from anywhere in Australia) to be processed before new prices are displayed on the site. With thousands of cardholders throughout Australia, this keeps the PriceWatch data accurate. The refreshing process resets the minimum, maximum and average price for the day.
